25 Years of Experience
Howard L. Silvermintz entered the financial services industry in St. Louis Missouri in 1987, with John Hancock, then in 1989, formed his own firm, InsurAtlanta, Inc, an independent insurance agency.
Howard holds two degrees, a BS in Agriculture and a BS in Business — both from the University of Missouri. Howard had been a member of NAIFA since 1989 and served on the board for nearly two years. Howard extended his financial planning credentials by earning his ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) designation in 2004 and his CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation in 2007.
He is an active member of the High Museum, The Atlanta History Center, and his Synagogue “The Temple” for over two decades. Howard is also a member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. His two favorite vacations were the World War Two history tour with his brother and the trip with his wife in 2005 to Ireland and ultimately Scotland where he saw Jack Nicklaus play in The Open for the final time. His recent trip to Hawaii scores high marks too. He has been married to his wife Sharon, a native Atlantan, since 1992 and they just renewed their vows. They live in Midtown, with their dog “Frenchie LaRoux”, a French bulldog.
